Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Would you like to become our new colleague? We currently have 10 district nurses and 3 nurses who are involved in several exciting projects. We are now offering a permanent full-time position, with start date by agreement.

Your mission

As a district nurse/nurse with us, you will have a varied job. This includes assessing and helping patients in phone consultations as well as through our e-services, but also in direct meetings in planned receptions. You will work closely with other professionals at the health center. We have a diverse patient base, allowing you to meet everyone from young families and students to elderly citizens. This makes the work with us both varied and stimulating.

Your competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or district nurse, and it is advantageous if you have experience from previous work in primary care. The job requires good collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team, as well as the capacity for independent work. As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively, and to be successful in the job, you need to be flexible in your approach. You communicate clearly and can easily establish contact with patients, relatives, and colleagues.

It is important that you have a desire to develop the operations together with your colleagues in the unit. We care about a good work environment and see it as natural that everyone contributes to a pleasant workplace. We appreciate drive, innovative thinking, and a willingness to contribute and change. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Since some home visits are made in the position, a B driver's license is required.

Our operations

Skutskär Health Center is located a five-minute walk from the train station, making it easy to commute from both Gävle (17 km) and Uppsala (90 km). We have 9,000 registered patients and 38 employees. All professional areas are represented with us, and together we offer all services within the health center's mission.
